Centering Prayer (1)

Centering Prayer is a method of prayer that emerges from the Christian contemplative tradition. Its source is the indwelling Trinity and it is rooted in sacred Scripture. It's purpose is to draw us into a more intimate relationship with God by surrendering to God's presence and action within. Centering Prayer is both a discipline that prepares the faculties to receive the pure Gift of God's presence in Contemplation as well as relationship with God.
