International Eucharistic Congress 2012

International Eucharistic Congress, June 10-17, 2012, Dublin, Ireland

You are invited to participate in the 50th International Eucharistic Congress in Dublin Ireland, June 10-17, 2012. The Dublin Congress itself will be a week long program of events, linking faith and culture. At the same time all Christians will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the inauguration of the Second Vatican Council.
In conjunction with the Congress we are offering three Pilgrim Journey Land Packages (based on small groups 15-20 persons) including an optional tour of the “Emerald isle”. You can find out more information on the Saskatoon Ministry to Tourism Website. www.pilgrimjourneys.ca

Many will not be able to attend the congress, but we can all participate in prayer and in spirit. Sheet music is provided for the theme song, as well as a playable or downloadable MP3 file. More information can be found on the offical page for the anthem.

The Commencement of the Eucharistic Congress Bell Pilgrimage

The bell has been fitted into a carrying frame in which it will be brought on foot from place to place around Ireland by teams of volunteers. It will be a focal point for gathering and for prayer, in cathedrals, parish churches and places of pilgrimage. Read more.
