Parish Viability

Over the years of consultation on pastoral leadership and pastoral needs the diocese has been repeatedly asked to develop a set of guidelines for parish viability.  The following is a response to this request.

With the assistance of the Diocesan Pastoral Council and the pastoral leadership of the diocese, a process for parish revitalization, reorganization, or closure has been established including the use of a parish viability form.  All parishes of the diocese are asked to complete a parish viability form every three years.  The results are to be submitted to the Chancery.
