Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to post a link to a video over at salt and light tv of a 30 minute interview of our soon to be ordained Bishop Bolen! Get to know how he grew up, where he studied, and what he hopes for in coming here to the Diocese of Saskatoon!

Above all else, pray for Him and for us that the Spirit may guide Him in leading us ever closer to our God in every moment of our lives. If you didn't get a ticket to the ordination, don't fret! The ENTIRE ordination is being streamed online at http://www.saltandlighttv.org Also, if you are free this Wednesday night at 7 PM, come to St. Paul's Cathedral for an ecumenical prayer service with Bishop Elect and many other faithful from many different christian communities! It looks to be a great evening!

And lastly, please comment below with your prayers, greetings, and desires that you would like to pass on to Bishop Bolen. I will make sure that he gets a chance to read them!

Peace!

Congratulations! We are not in your diocese; we are not even in your country. But we are one body in Christ, and we rejoice greatly with you.

Bishop Bolan! What a blessing you are to the church. God be praised, and may you receive every comfort of the Holy Spirit as you shepherd the people given to you.

Know that we, along with our home schooled children are pleased to pray for you by name along with all the priests and missionaries for whom we offer our day every Thursday. We pray with a certain affinity and affection since through my paternal Grandfather, we also have roots in the farming pioneers of Saskatchewan. My paternal uncle, Fr. Clem Novakowski, OMI (+Nov.2009) served faithfully with his priestly life for 54 years, some in your diocese.
We thoroughly enjoyed examining your Coat of Arms and the photos of your consecration. It was of special interest to our oldest, Elizabeth, since as we prepare her and two of her cousins for Confirmation on 24 April through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program, we have examined recently the role and insignia of the bishop. We are most grateful to have your blessing, even from afar.
Love from fellow pilgrims in Ontario,

Hey Bishop Bolan! Welcome to Saskatoon! I was at your ordination and it was one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed! I am really interested in your work with ecumenism and am very excited to see what kind of impact it will have on our diocese. I believe that Christian unity is an incredibly important part of our faith, and am happy that steps will continue to be taken in that direction.

Happy Good Shepherd Sunday and God bless!
